Pets in the cabin

On our domestic flights we accept dogs and cats in the cabin (no other animals are accepted). Animals in the cabin must be transported in a waterproof transport cage or approved waterproof transport bag in which the entire animal can fit. Animals that do not fit in such an approved bag or cage are not accepted on board.

The cage or bag must be placed under the seat in front of the passenger to whom the animal belongs. The animal you bring with you in the cabin may weigh a maximum of 8 kg including cage or bag. The cage/bag must not exceed the dimensions 56x45x25 cm. The traveler provides his own cage or bag.

When transporting animals in the hold, the cage must be large enough for the animal to stand up and turn around without problems. The cage must also be stable, disinfected and waterproof and be equipped with containers for food and water. Max 1 animal per cage. No rodents (except rabbits) or reptiles are allowed. The cage must not exceed the dimensions 110x76x73 cm. Maximum weight for animals and cages in cargo space is 60 kg.

The cage must be approved for transport, strong enough to be strapped down, leak-proof and disinfected. It must be made of fiberglass, metal or hard surface and equipped with handles on the sides so that it can be lifted and loaded. Cages made entirely of wire mesh, or wire cages with too low edges on the bottom plate, are not allowed.
